Minnie Katzenberger

Minnie Katzenberger, 99, Marshfield, died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 7, 2006, at the Marshfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Care Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hansen Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Maldon Plank will provide music with Bill Allen serving as soloist. Burial will be in Yolo Cemetery in the town of Fremont.

Pallbearers will be Minnie's nephews, Arthur, Chuck, Donnie Edward and Ronnie Boushon.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday, until service time at the funeral home.

Minnie was born in Clark County on Jan. 15, 1906, a daughter of Henry A. and Louise (Niles) Boushon. She attended Clark County schools. On July 3, 1944, Minnie was married to John Katzenberger at Park Falls. Minnie and John moved to the town of Rock, where they farmed until retirement in 1949.

Minnie was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Marshfield, and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, playing cards, caring for animals and working on the farm. She loved to sit and visit with her nieces, nephews and friends. Minnie was always ready with a compliment and a smile.

Many nieces, nephews and friends survive Minnie. Her husband in 1963, parents, eight brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews preceded her in death.
