Berger, Eva Marie (Marriage - 22 Feb. 1944)

Miss Eva Marie Berger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Berger of Abbotsford, Wis., and Leon Beyerl, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ruesch of Colby, Wisconsin, were united in marriage at a ceremony performed at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, Rev. L. J. Lang officiating. The couple was attended by Miss Delores Beyerl, sister of the groom, and Martin Jacobs.

The bride was attired in a white marquisette gown with lace inserts fashioned with a long train and a shirred beaded bodice. She carried a bouquet of white roses and carnations and her long veil, edged with lace, was fastened to a beaded coronet. The bridesmaid wore a pale pink marquisette frock made with a full gathered skirt trimmed in an all-over white embroidered design. Her wrist corsage was fashioned of pink and white flowers and a pink shoulder-length veiled headdress completed her attire.

A wedding dinner was served immediate relatives at the home of the groom’s parents.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Indianapolis, Ind., and after March 1st will be at home on the groom’s farm near Abbotsford, Wis.
