Flink, Alice (Marriage - 3 June 1944)

Alice Flink, daughter of August Flink, and Bernard Tesmer were united in marriage at the Unity Trinity Lutheran church at Unity on Saturday, June 3rd, Rev. M. C. Goetsch, reading the marriage ceremony. The bride was attended by Mrs. Frank Obernberger as matron of honor and Mrs. Harold Horn as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Frank Obernberger and Harold Horn.

The bride was attired in a white dress with train and finger tip veil with lace edging. Mrs. Obernberger wore a dress of yellow brocaded organza and Mrs. Horn wore a dress of pink brochaded organza. All three also wore corsages.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Obernberger, the home being nicely decorated with pink, yellow and white streamers for the occasion. In the evening, a wedding dance was given at Wiedenhoeft’s pavilion.

The groom is employed as a cheese maker at Loyal.
