Sensenbrenner, Joseph H. (6 MAR 1863 - 30 MAY 1940)

Jos. H. Sensenbrenner, 77, a resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) thirty-three years ago, died at Cornell, May 30th, 1940 after a year’s illness.

Mr. Sensenbrenner operated a meat market in Thorp from 1904 to 1907, moving to Stanley from here and in 1911 to Ladysmith.

The deceased was born at Menasha, Wis., March 6, 1863. He was married at Eldorado in 1888 to Attie Crain, who died three years ago. He is survived by one son, Ed, of Vancouver, Wash., three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Davis and Loretta (Mrs. Sylvester Babbitt), of Cornell and Sarah (Mrs. Edw. J. Simon), of Sturgeon Bay.

Funeral services were held at Cornell at ten o’clock Saturday morning, Rev. Casper officiating. The body lay in state at the Bogumill Funeral Home here from Saturday until Sunday morning and then conveyed to Oshkosh for burial. Six grandsons served as pallbearers.
