Mis, Frank A. (15 AUG 1883 - 15 AUG 1940)

Frank A. Mis passed away at his farm home near Lublin on Thursday, Aug. 15th, 1940, having reached the age of fifty-seven years.

The deceased was born in Poland on Aug. 15, 1883 and came to America in 1901, locating at Chicago. He was united in marriage to Catherine Nowak in 1905 at Whiting, Indiana. He moved to Lublin in 1909 with his wife and family and resided on a farm near there until death.

Besides his wife he leaves five sons, Frank, Charles, Walter and John of Chicago, and Joe of Evansville, Ind., four daughters, Helen, Mary and Valeria of Lublin, and Annette of Chicago; one brother Michael in Michigan and two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Igras of Thorp and Catherine Kot of Lublin.

Funeral services were conducted by Father Jos. Rapala at St. Stanislaus Church at Lublin on Saturday morning last and interment took place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were, Anton Markiewicz, John Wojcik, Joseph Szepeniec, Karl Stafin, Karl Nicpon and Walter Lipinski.
