Curtiss, Wis. - Feb. 8, 1945

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Willard Geary on Feb. 1st at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Mrs. Grant Herrick was taken to the LaGault hospital, Owen, on Wednesday of last week for medical treatment. She returned home on Tuesday.

Mrs. Grace Nicks and daughter, Mrs. Clarence Geary, left last week for West Liberty, Iowa, being called there by the illness of the former’s mother, Mrs. Lehman.

Miss Irene Schuette was a week-end visitor at Eau Claire.

Mrs. Jack McCorrison and daughter, Jane, of Marshfield, spent Thursday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hoff.

Albert Klessig left on Monday for the southern part of the state where he will be employed.

Lt. Andor Kraut spent the week-end with Albert Klessig and other relatives. He returned on Monday to Selman Field, Monroe, La., where he will be re-assigned.

Lt. and Mrs. Harley Hoff arrived here last week from Cheyenne, Wyoming to spend a 14-day furlough. Lt. Hoff left on Wednesday evening for the west coast where he will be re-assigned. Mrs. Hoff will live with her parents at Wausau for the duration.

Mrs. A. M. Erickson and daughter, Ethel, Clarence Geary and Dorothy and Billy, visited Mrs. Willard Geary at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. George Hoff, Miss Myrtle Hoff, Lt. and Mrs. Harley Hoff attended a family gathering at the home of the former’s daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack McCorrison, at Marshfield on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Laabs and sons and Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Laabs spent the week-end with Mrs. Geo. Pease at Wisconsin Rapids.

Rev. G. E. Borreson spent several days this week at Minneapolis.
