Pawlicki, Lottie (16 NOV 1940)

A very pretty wedding took place at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin, Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 16, 1940, when Father Jos. Rapala joined in holy wedlock, Mr. Steve Losiewicz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Losiewicz, and Miss Lottie Pawlicki, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Pawlicki, both of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). The ceremony was performed at four o’clock in the afternoon. Witness to the nuptial were Joe Pawlicki as best man and Miss Rose Polak, bridesmaid, Felix Losiewicz and Jean Novak, Andrew Depa and Sophie Losiewicz.

The bride was beautifully attired in a gown of white satin. The flower girl, Wanda Pawlicki, carried a basket of white roses and chrysanthemums.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and a dance was given at the American Legion Hall in the evening.

The couple will reside north of Thorp, where the groom operates the White Eagle Dairy Cheese Factory. Their many friends join in extending congratulations.

Guests from away who attended the festivities were: Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Fortek, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Nawrocki, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Gunia, Mr. and Mrs. Al Pawlicki, all of Chicago; Mrs. F. Granski of Babcock, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gunia of Phillips, Wis.
