Osowski, Ann (23 NOV 1940)

Saturday afternoon, Nov. 23, 1940, Miss Ann Osowski of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) became the bride of Bruno Lato of the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co.), at an 8:00 nuptial high mass at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp. The Rev. Francis A. Kulig performed the service.

The bride’s gown was of white satin, princess styled and lace trimmed. She wore a long lace trimmed silk veil and carried a bridal bouquet of pink roses and pompoms and baby chrysanthemums tied with a large white satin bow. Sprigs of Myrtle were tied to the satin streamers.

The bridesmaids, Miss Linda Osowski, niece of the bride, and the flower girl, Esther Osowski, another niece of the bride, both wore long light blue taffeta dresses and carried bouquets of pink carnations, baby chrysanthemums, and baby breath.

The bridegroom’s cousin Tony Lato, acted as best man.

Following the service a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents and immediate friends and relatives attended. Mr. and Mrs. Lato will reside on a farm southwest of Withee, Wis.
