Niemi, Martha E. #2 (20 NOV 1940)

Announcement of the marriage of Martha Eleanor Niemi, daughter of John Niemi, route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), to Francis Henry Herr, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Herr of route 4, Greenwood (Clark Co.), on Nov. 20, 1940, was recently made. The service was performed at the Catholic Church at Greenwood at a nine o’clock service in the morning.

The bride wore a blue traveling suit and was attended by Miss Loretta Herr, a sister of the groom. Henry Hemmersbach was the best man.

A dinner following the ceremony for immediate friends of the couple was given at the home of the bride’s father.

The young couple will make their home on the farm of the groom’s father.
