Curtiss, Wis. - Jan. 31, 1946

Mrs. Henry House will be hostess to the Ladies’ Aid of the Ev. and Reformed church on Wed., Feb. 6th.

Kathryn Peterson, a student at Central State Teachers College, returned to Stevens Point, Wisconsin, after spending a few days between semesters with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Peterson.

Rev. G. E. Borreson is in Minneapolis this week attending a convention of Lutheran pastors.

Mrs. Jack McCorrison and daughter, Jane, of Clam Lake spent several days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hoff.

Kathryn Peterson left on Tuesday, for Sheboygan to visit her sister, Mrs. Michael Novak, and family.

Mrs. George Hoff returned on Monday evening from St. Paul where she had spent several days with her sister, Mrs. Thomas Thierry.

The orchestra and band mothers of Owen will present a home talent play, entitled, "The Mystery of a Masked Girl" at the Curtiss village hall on Thursday evening, Feb. 7th, at eight o’clock. This is sponsored by the Curtiss School P.T.A. Refreshments will be served. Admission 40 and 20 cents.
