Kunze, Frances Rose (Marriage - 23 Aug. 1947)
Frances Rose Kunze, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Kunze, and Daniel Angelich, son of Nicholas Angelich of Detroit, were united in marriage at the St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby, Wis., Saturday, August 23, at 9:00 A.M., Rev. N. B. Beschta reading the marriage ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Miss Olga Angelich, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Miss Estella Kunze, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Raymond Kunze, brother of the bride, and Gerald Ohlinger, cousin of the bride.
The bride was exquisite in a gown of white marquisette with a sweetheart neckline having a fitted tuss and full skirt. She wore a fingertip veil with a tiara of orange blossoms. Her bouquet consisted of pink roses. The maid of honor wore a gown of pale pink fashioned similar to that of the bride with sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice and carried a mixed bouquet of gladiolus and white roses. The bridesmaid’s dress was of blue net, styled the same as the others. Her bouquet consisted of mixed white gladiolus and blue asters. Both attendants wore tiaras of pink and blue flowers with veiling to match their gowns.
A reception dinner was held after the ceremony in the bride’s home at Abbotsford, serving about 50 people. Out of town guests were from Ashland, Chippewa Falls, Stanley, Curtiss, Battle Creek and Chicago.
After a honeymoon in Northern Wisconsin and Michigan, the couple will return to Chicago where they will make their home.
