Blunck, Viola B. (21 MAR 1941)

A lovely wedding service was solemnized in the Lutheran Parsonage at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) at seven o’clock in the evening on Friday, March 21, 1941, uniting Miss Viola Belle Blunck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Blunck of Withee and John E. Jalling Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Jalling, also of Withee, in marriage.

The nuptial service was read by Rev. E. Wendling.

The bride wore a dark blue crepe ensemble with white accessories and her bridesmaid, Miss Inez Martin, wore a brown and tan silk dress with matching accessories. Each wore a shoulder corsage of white and pink roses and mixed flowers.

The groom was attended by Roy Sorenson.

Immediately following the service a 7:30 dinner was served to 40 guests in the Madsen Hall which was appropriately decorated with pink and white decorations and flowers.

The couple left on a wedding trip that will take them to various parts of Wisconsin and Minnesota.

They will make their home in Withee where Mr. Jalling operates a grocery store.

Out of town friends and relatives that attended the service were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jalling and family of Thorp; Miss Rose Miller of Chippewa Falls; Mr. and Mrs. L.F. Herzberg of Owen.
