Mueller, Lila Mrs. (Marriage - 5 June 1948)

Mrs. Lila Mueller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armin Barts of Abbotsford, and Adolph J. Thieme, son of Fred Thieme of Colby, exchanged marriage vows at Christ’s Lutheran church at Abbotsford Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating at the ceremony. Dorothy Kieser and Inez Gust sang, "O Perfect Love" and "The Lord is My Shepherd."

Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Denzin, brother in law and sister of the bride, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Thieme, brother and sister in law of the groom.

The bride was attired in a white linen suit and hat with brown accessories and a shoulder corsage of yellow roses.

The matron of honor wore a tan suit with brown and white accessories and the bridesmaid, a light grey suit with brown and white accessories. Both wore shoulder corsages of red roses.

Supper for 65 relatives was served at the home of the bride’s parents which was decorated with aqua, yellow, and white streamers.

The young couple are now on a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin and will be at home after June 15th in Abbotsford, Wisconsin. The groom is employed at the Harmony Co-operative Produce Company plant in Colby, Wisconsin.

Out of town guests included Arnold Thieme, Racine; Mrs. Lorraine Ott and Victor Multerer, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Patrie and family of Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. Seymour Gustafson and family of Unity.
