Caron, Jeanette Rose (Marriage - 2 Oct. 1948)

Miss Jeanette Rose Caron, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Caron, and Paul L. Duellman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Duellman, were united in marriage Saturday, October 2, at 9:30 A.M., at St. Bernard’s Catholic church at Abbotsford, Rev. Francis Brockman reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Arthur Krause, sister of the bride, of Detroit, Mich., was matron of honor and Mrs. Edward Duellman, cousin of the bride, of Harshaw, Mich., and Miss Ruth Lanita, cousin of the bride, of Lansing, Mich., were bridesmaids. The groom was attended by Edward Duellman as best man and Arthur Krause and Richard Preller.

The bride was attired in a white slipper satin gown with Belgium lace, sweetheart neckline, long fitted sleeves, long train, veil, white net and edged in Spanish lace. The matron of honor wore a navy blue velvet dress with fitted bodice, pale blue net skirt over blue rayon taffeta and a navy blue velvet Juliet cap. The bridesmaids wore identical dresses of navy blue with velvet bodice over medium blue with a net skirt and navy blue Juliet cap.

A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the groom’s parents and a 5:00 o’clock dinner was served in St. Mary’s gymnasium at Colby, Wisconsin.

The newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Northern Michigan and Wisconsin and will be at home after October 18 in Detroit, Mich.
