-Schjonneman, Kate (16 Jan. 1886 - 14 Feb. 1948)

Mrs. Mogan Schjonneman of Unity, age 62, who had been seriously ill the past five months, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, at 8:30 a.m. Saturday after being admitted there Thursday. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Unity Methodist church, Rev. F. J. Smith officiating, and internment was made in the Brighton cemetery.

Mrs. Schjonneman (Kate Ayer) was born Jan. 16th, 1886, in the town of Unity and was married to Mogan Schjonneman on October 3, 1905, in the town of Unity. She was a graduate of Unity High School and lived on a farm since her marriage. She was a member of the Methodist church, its Women’s Society of Christian Service and of the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving, besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Harley Christensen of Marshfield; two sons, Anton of Unity, and Merlin of Colby; eight grand children and three sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Belva Loney and Mrs. William Cammers of Colby, Mrs. Arthur Wisnosky and Jonas and Walter Ayer of Spencer, Owen Ayer of Goodman and William Ayer of Loyal. A son, Emery, died in 1930.
