Eleven children were born to this union, seven having died before the father. Those living are: Mrs. Rose Simons of Milwaukee, Mrs. Mike Firnstahl of Evanston, Mrs. W. M. Fisher of Chicago, Mrs. W. Herman of Curtiss, Ed of Abbotsford, Albert of Dorchester and Joe of Colby, Wisconsin.
