HELEN ZRUTSKIE LAID TO REST

Helen Bertha Zrutskie was born in the town of Hull on Nov. 20, 1910, and died Tuesday, March 27, 1928, being 17 years, 4 months and 7 days old.

Several months ago symptoms of tuberculosis of the lungs were detected and she was taken to several doctors with hopes for a recovery but could not seem to stem the dreaded disease which at last claimed her young life.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Zrutskie, about **(unreadable) years ago, but leaves to mourn, her mother Mrs. Gusta Zrutskie, a sister, Mrs. Margaret Bender, and Clarence, Adeline, Harry and Eleanor, brothers and sisters at home.

Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon March 30, 1928, with interment in the Town of **(looks like Holton) cemetery, conducted by Rev. J. W. Wuebben.

Mrs. Frank Hardy and Harry Belmont of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Hintz of Fenwood attended from out of town.

** Transcriber note: There is a Christ Lutheran cemetery record for George Zrutskie, showing his date of death as 22 May 1921. The cemetery is in Holton Township.
