Nevins, Wisconsin

Mrs. Mike Rosandich was taken suddenly ill last Tuesday and was taken by ambulance to the Neillsville hospital, where she has been ever since.

Mrs. Edward Donahue and daughter, Lucille, Mrs. Chester Lavene and Margaret and Billy of Chicago came to see their mother, Mrs. Rosandich Thursday. Mrs. Donahue and Lucille and Margaret and Billy returned to Chicago Saturday. Mrs. Lavene plans on staying another week. Martin and Tony Rosandich of Milwaukee were home over the weekend, due to their mother’s illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kapusta and baby visited his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kapusta for a week. Frank is in the navy at Great Lakes and is an airplane mechanic. Joe Kapusta came up from Milwaukee Wednesday to hunt and visit with relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Clayton McCann of Neillsville visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Paun.

Jose Matonich has been staying with his daughter, Mrs. Robert Rollins, since November 16.

Mrs. Joe Sanfilippo and baby, Vivian, have gone to Wisconsin Rapids, where she is employed.

Eddie Klump and gentleman friend of Milwaukee stayed at the Ralph Scholtz, home during hunting season.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Lindquist called on Mr. and Mrs. Clark Brooks Sunday.

Mrs. John Paun and son, Robert and Mrs. Tom Paun visited Mrs. Mike Rosandich at the hospital Sunday afternoon.

Private John Matonich, 3665-7460, 457 Bomb Grp, 748 Bomb Sq., A. A. B., Ephrata, Wash., writes that the weather there is fine, but musty and poor for flying. This camp is a pretty nice place; all you want to eat any time of day.

Mrs. Carl Marek, who was employed in Marshfield the past couple of months, is home for a few weeks.
