Washburn - Mrs. Ralph Short

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Short, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Short, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shot and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Winters, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Taylor, Mrs. George Bue, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Pietenpol, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ganther and son, Mrs. Leslie Walters, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz, Mrs. Elmer Bender, Mrs. Alice Reidel, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Sternitzky and family and Evelyn Kalsow surprised Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Short Sunday to help them celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. They went with well filled baskets and a dinner was served in honor of the occasion. The couple was presented with a sum of money by the group.

Misses Doreen and Audrey Short came home from Central State Teacher’s college, Stevens Point, Friday to spent a two weeks vacation at their homes.

A large crowd attended the Ladies Aid Society meeting at Mrs. George Allbaugh’s Thursday.

Several ladies attended the First Aid meeting and Christmas party at the school house Wednesday night. Miss Hill, home agent, was a guest. The last meeting of the series will be held Wednesday night, January 5, at which movies will be shown.

The Singing club will meet at the Alfred Spiegel home Sunday night, December 26.
