Will, Margaret (20 May 1900 - 4 July 1952)

Mrs. Frank Will, a resident of the Colby community for 48 years, died Friday at 12:30 A.M., at the age of 52 years in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. She had been in poor health for several years. Funeral services were held Monday morning in St. Mary’s Catholic church, Rev. N. B. Beschta officiating, and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were Harold Kasper, Richard Witte, Sr., Edgar Laux, Otto Schulte and Emil and Harry Untiedt. Flowers were carried by Colene Edblom, Sandra Steinward, Gail Schaffer, Donna Rae Untiedt, Patty Fitzgibbons, Rebecca Will and Agnes Apfelbeck.

Mrs. Will, the former Margaret Schaffer, was born on May 20, 1900, in Hilbert. She came to Colby with her parents at the age of four years and settled on a farm. She married Frank Will in Colby, Wisconsin on June 17, 1919, after which they purchased a farm.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Arlyn (Zona) Edblom of Colby and Mrs. Ervin (Doris) Schilling of Thorp; three sons, Ralph, Neland and Donald of Town Colby; nine grand children; and a sister, Mrs. Lester Kading of Sheboygan.

Mrs. Will was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic church and always endeavored to live up to the teachings of her church, always considered the welfare of her family before her own personal desires. Being of a congenial and friendly disposition, she made many friends who join her family in mourning her departure.

Will and son, Cornelius, and Mrs. Tillie Will of Elkhart Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nash and Mr. and Mrs. Math Niles of Wisconsin Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Math Uerling and Jane of Westboro, Mrs. Victor Koleske of Appleton, Mrs. Jerome Will and family of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Foster Will and family of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. John Dahlke of Edgar, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hebert and Mrs. Jack Habelsberger of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wallace and son of Amherst, Mr. and Mrs. Milford Bolen of Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hanson of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Morgan of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Margaret Horner of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Schulte of Abbotsford, Wis.
