Her father, Daniel, was the son of Friedrich Wilhelm Ristow/William Ristow. William was the son of Rosine Semerau & Daniel Ristau. There was a surname change after Daniel Ristau and family came to Marathon County in 1858. Daniel Ristau died on Sherman's March through Georgia in 1864.
I have traced the Rosine Semerau line all the way back to 1758 in West Prussia, I have her birth and marriage records as well.
