Gorz, Eva (1865 - 5 DEC 1941)

Mrs. Eva Gorz, 75, passed away at the home of her nephew, Joe Starzyk, in Chicago, on Friday, Dec. 5, 1941, of old age complications.

The deceased was born in Poland. She resided on a farm in the Town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.) for twenty years and for the past nine years has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. John Nowobielski in the town of Withee. Mr. Gorz met accidental death about twenty-four years ago. Relatives surviving her are one nephew, Joe Starzyk of Chicago, and Mrs. Frank Gorz of South Chicago.

The body was brought to Thorp an lay in state at the Bogumill Funeral Home until the time of the funeral, which was held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Tuesday morning last at ten o’clock, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating, and interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: John Nowobielski, Frank Arcizieszewski, Walter Badzinski, John Koszak, Fran Sawczuk and Joe Sopiarz.
