Blasczyk, Evelyn (22 DEC 1941)

A very quiet wedding took place at St. Mary’s Church in Junction (Clark Co., Wis.) on Monday, Dec. 22, 1941, when Miss Evelyn Blasczyk of Thorp, became the bride of Corporal Joseph Symbal of Camp Livingston, La., son of Mrs. Mike Symbal of Stanley. The altar was beautifully decorated with white carnations. Rev. Louis Sobieski performed the ceremony.

The bride wore a light blue street length dress with accessories to match. Edward Slowiak, cousin of the groom, acted as best man. The groom and his attendant wore their uniforms.

The bride and groom left for a brief honeymoon on Monday.

Among the out of town people who were here for the wedding were the following, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gutowski and family of Gilman and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Olichwier of Thorp.
