Rose Mary Lumley, who taught at Colby, Wis. High School last year and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Lumley of Ashland Kentucky, and Clarence D. Janis, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Janis, were united in marriage Thursday, June 16th, at the Holy Family church at Ashland, Ky., the Very Rev. D. F. Carroll officiating. The couple was attended by the bride’s classmate, Miss Pala Brunchard, and the bride’s brother, George F. Lumley, Jr.

The bride was attired in a gown of white embossed organdy, very full skirt, fitted waist off the shoulder yoke. Her bouquet consisted of pink roses and white stephanotis. Her attendant wore a dress of pale pink organdy fashioned on the same lines as the bride’s and had a colonial bouquet.

A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents. A three-tier wedding cake centered the table and decorations consisted of baby breaths and evergreens.

The couple made a wedding trip through the Northwest and were at home after July 16 at Bowe Bells, N.D., where the groom is employed at the Bowbells Lumber yard.
