Abbotsford, Wis. - May 11, 1950

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Bremer at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital Sunday, May 7.

The Presbyterian church of Abbotsford is celebrating its golden anniversary having been organized 50 years ago this month.

Melvin Bitter enlisted in the U.S. Army.

Ben Merwin purchased the Val Wojner house on Highway 13 and is moving it onto the lot north of the Mrs. Joe Elfert house which he recently purchased from H. C. Christensen.

Mr. and Mrs. George Vetter and sons left last week Wednesday afternoon for Madison to attend the funeral of his father, Leonard Vetter, age 90.

Mrs. Martha Wiesjahn visited several days with relatives in Auburndale.

Miss Delores Brunner was graduated from the Milwaukee Accredited School of Beauty Culture. She is spending a short vacation with her parents, and then she will go back to Milwaukee where she will be employed.

Mrs. Louis Mauritz left last week Wednesday for Milwaukee to visit at the Miles Mauritz home.

Miss Georgianna Lundahl returned to Chicago after spending several months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Lundahl, and her sisters, Mrs. Norman Lukas and Mrs. Carl Morrow.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fitense announce the birth of a daughter at the Memorial Hospital, Wausau, April 24th.
