Roth, Helen (11 June 1874 - 26 Nov. 1950)

Mrs. Helen Roth of Pittsville, who formerly lived near Colby, died at the Wood county infirmary at Port Edwards Sunday at 12 P.M. at the age of 76 years. She had been ill for a long time. Funeral services are being held this Thursday morning at St. Joachim’s Catholic church, Rev. James Geyer officiating, and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Roth was born on June 11, 1874, in Germany. She was married on March 23, 1897, to Mathias Roth. She first settled in this country near Colby after coming to the United States with her parents.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Adolph Roginski of Pittsville and an adopted son, Edward, of Dundee, Ill. Also 11 grand children and 12 great grand children. Her husband preceded her in death 10 years ago. Three sisters and one brother also preceded her in death.
