Martyn, Peter (26 June 1890 - 6 Dec. 1951)

Peter Martyn of the town of Frankfort, Wisconsin died last Thursday, Dec. 6, at the age of 61 years, five months and 10 days. Funeral services were held Monday at the Peace Lutheran church in the town of Frankfort and internment was made in the parish cemetery. Pall bearers were Herman Henke, Herman Podevels, Walter Brown, Edward Witski, Ted Dirks and Carl Wenzel.

The deceased was born in the town of Frankfort on June 26, 1890. He married Emma Dallmann, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gust Dallmann, in the town of Wein on September 6, 1921.

Surviving are his wife, seven children, Elmer of Aniwa, Esther of Schofield, Emily at St. Mary’s Hospital in Wausau, Isaac, William, Edward and Evelyn of Edgar; two brothers, Isaac Martyn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Rev. Sebastian Martyn of Walla Walla, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Susan Martyn of Mosinee.
