Mrs. Seehafer was born June 5, 1919, in Loyal, a daughter of Otto and Ella (Mellenthin) Luther. Angeline was baptized in Loyal at the Trinity Lutheran Church and was confirmed in the town of McMillan at St. Peter's Church. Angeline completed grade school in the town of McMillan and attended Marshfield Senior High School. On June 7, 1940, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in the town of McMillan, the former Angeline M. Luther was united in holy marriage to Chester A. Seehafer.

The couple owned and operated a dairy farm in the town of McMillan from 1940 until they sold the operation to their son in 1979.

Faith and family were the driving forces in Angeline's life. She and Chester raised their children up in a faith-filled home. Angeline had been an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church since 1940. In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Mrs. Seehafer was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family and friends.

Angeline was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid, Senior Circle, Quilters for Missions, and the McMillan 49ers Homemakers. Mrs. Seehafer was a past president of the Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies Aid as well as an officer in Parent Teachers League. Angeline also enjoyed gardening and needlework. She enjoyed making several fishing trips to Canada with her husband, Chester.

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 67 years, Chester, of Marshfield. She was blessed with nine children, Rodney (Patty) Seehafer, Marshfield, Carol (Edwin) Schulze, Naples, Fla., James (Patricia) Seehafer, Marshfield, Diane (Lloyd) Mueller, Marshfield, Beverly (David) DeSeife, Kenosha, Bruce (Kristine) Seehafer, Marshfield, Gary (LouAnn) Seehafer, Marshfield, and Alan (Kathy) Seehafer, Marshfield; 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Sisters, Marcella Lau, Berdeen Stroetz and Elizabeth Wills, and one brother, Frederick Luther, all of Marshfield, further survive Angeline.

A son, Charles, and one brother, Lavern, as well as her parents, preceded Angeline in death.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Mrs. Seehafer's name are encouraged to do so to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or School.
