Holstrom, Adelle #2 (25 MAY 1921 - 14 MAR 2008)

Adelle Holstrom, 86, died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living Center, Marshfield, under Ministry Home Care Hospice supervision.

Visitation will be held at Spencer Maurina/Shilling Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, from 5-8 p.m. She will be buried beside her husband in Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, Ind.

Adelle Potz was born on May 25, 1921, in the town of Eau Pleine, the daughter of Henry and Augusta (nee Gotski) Potz. She attended the Wescott school in the town of Eau Pleine, and a beauty culture school in Chicago. She married Alex "Bud" on June 11, 1960, and the couple settled in Livonia, Mich., where her husband worked for Ford Motor Company. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. They retired in the early1980s and moved to Spencer. Her husband died shortly after retirement.

Survivors include one brother, Walter Potz, Spencer; and two sisters, Betty Boehm, Hales Corners, and Ella Baumgart, Dwight, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three sisters.
