Mrs. Linton Jahr came home from the Luther Hospital at Eau Claire Wednesday and is gaining nicely.

Mrs. Clifford Neilson and Mrs. Frank Dobes helped Mrs. Fred Subke can meat Wednesday.

Mrs. Fred McCarty and mother, Mrs. Joe Holub visited Mrs. Robert Wacki of Washburn Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Neilson entertained his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Neilson of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Neilson of Washburn, and Carl Palmer and mother for dinner Sunday.

Mrs. Ed. Seiboldt of Neillsville spent Sunday with her former neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Spaete, while her son and wife were visiting at the Joe Horchled home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Buker of Greenwood spent Sunday at the Charles Neff home.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Haines and children visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Boldt, Sunday after the christening of the new baby, John, Jr., and Mrs. Marie Meiers, uncle and aunt of the baby, were sponsors.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kurasz spent Wednesday evening with her sister, Mrs. Alvin Schutte.

The Happy Hour Club met at the home of Mrs. Adolph Meiers Wednesday and enjoyed at talk by Miss Hill, the county home agent. Next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Henry Seidelman in March.

Mrs. Marie Matousek and Mr. and Mrs. George Holub of Shortville spent Sunday afternoon with the Joe Holub, Sr. family.

Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Schultz called on Mr. and Mrs. Linton Jahr Sunday afternoon.

Mrs. Allen Crockett called on Mrs. Jahr Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Anson and his parents were callers at the Linton Jahr Home Sunday evening. Mr. Anison, Jr., expects to go to the hospital for an operation Monday and the parents came to help out their son’s home.

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schutte and family visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Durst, at Fairchild Sunday.

Funny for a business man to read he must rest to avoid the flu.
