H. J. Blanchard, Sam J. Shafer, Legare Potter and W. H. Bartell left for Madison, Monday. The boys will return with Rusk county as part of their baggage or

John Gardiner and wife, J. F. Cole and wife, Thos. S. Norton and F. F. Damon of Spencer, drove up Sunday and took dinner at the Commercial House.

Mrs. G. W. Ghoca and daughter Georgia, was in town last week, visiting I. C. Gotchy’s family and other friends. They returned home to Stevens Point, Monday afternoon.

Oliver Yerks, Will Miller and E. M. Miller accompanied by their wives, and Rob Rosenfeld with his Elsie Darling drove up from Unity, last evening, and exercised themselves at the roller rink.

W. A. Detmering, Inbusch Bro’s wide awake traveling man, took orders from our merchants, yesterday. Will is one of the most popular men on the road and has a host of friends in this neck of the woods.

Frank L. Dille, lumber dealer of Aberdeen, Dak., made his may friends in this vicinity a visit, last Thursday, He reports the lumber business good in his section. Come again Frank and visit with us longer.

Messrs. A. E. Burnside, L. S. Burnside, Jas. Enright, and Geo. Stein, Jr. and Misses Ella Cole, Mary Enright, Bertha Hungerford and Viola Burnside, all of Spencer, attended the roller ring, here, last evening.
