Freeman, Lenora (68th Birthday - 16 July 1912)

Last Tuesday was Mrs. D. R. Freeman’s birthday, her 68th, and in the evening about twenty of her lady friends reminded her of the occasion by giving her a genuine old-fashioned surprise. Baskets of eatables and the wimmen were right in the house before the occupants realized what the row was about. Games, general visiting and refreshments kept them busy until near the midnight hour, when they departed for home, after the usual "many returns of the day" were offered.
