Walter Michael Lukasiewicz, age 80, of Rockford, passed away Friday, March 21, 2008. Walter was born in Chicago to Michael and Lottie (Malecki) Lukasiewicz. He married Dorothy Ruth on July 29, 1972, in Minocqua, WI.

Walter was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; children Dixie, Danny and Janice; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters; and one brother.

Walter is predeceased by his parents, brother and sister.

All services were private. Arrangements were by Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave.
