Larson, Ruth Minnette (October 13, 1903 - April 25, 1930)

Ruth Minnette Larson

Ruth Minnette Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Larson was born at Abbotsford, Wisconsin, October 1903.

She attended the Abbotsford Public school and graduated from high school in 1921. She entered the Wausau Business Institute and completed the secretarial course n 1922.

After graduation she accepted a position as secretary at Wisconsin Rapids; and since then had done secretarial work I Blackwell, Park Falls and Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Because of failing health she stayed at home until May 1929 when she entered the Mr. Washington Sanatorium at Eau Claire. She passed away April 25, 1930.

Funeral services were held at the home and at the Norwegian Lutheran Church at Curtiss, April 28th, Rev. Nordhy of Baldwin, offered words of comfort to relative and friends.

She leaves to mourn her death her mother and father, six sisters and three brothers; Mr. Albert Bakke, Curtiss; Mrs. Arthur Thompson, Curtiss; Martin Larson, at home; Mrs. Marius Hansen, Larsen, Wis.; Mr. Oscar Larson, Oshkosh; Emma S. Larson, Berlin, Wis.; Maiel Larson, teaching Pleasant Hill school; Helen Larson, Stevens Point and Malcolm Larson, attending school at Abbotsford, Wis.
