John Julias Ehlers was the son of John and Augusta Ehlers...As far as I have been able to find out his father was also John Julias Ehlers born in 1849, in Illinos and died in Winona, MN May 4th 1920..Augusta was Augusta (Gustie)W. Alber or Alberts born in Prussia 1847-1850 Immigrated from germany in 1872, and died in Winona, MN May 19th 1922...they had 3 boys as far as I know for now and they were, John J. my Great Grandfather 1874-1948, Emil (Amiel 1880 census)1877-1957, and Gustav b.1879...
