Childs, Mrs. Albert (1881? - 18 MAR 1945)

Mrs. Albert Childs, 63, died of a stroke at her home here (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) on Sunday last. The word of her sudden death came as a shock to the community who will deeply mourn her passing. She is survived by her husband and one son Robert, who resides in California.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jas. Irish at the Thorp Funeral Home at 2:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. The body was shipped to Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Wednesday for burial.

Mrs. Childs came here from Keystone, Iowa, with her husband twenty-five years ago and resided on a farm north of the village for about fifteen years.
