Wojtowicz, Bernice (30 JUN 1945)

George Budrus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Budrus of Lublin and Miss Bernice Wojtowicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wojtowicz of Gilman, were married at 2:00 o’clock, June 30th, 1945 at St. Mary’s Church, Lublin.

The bride was dressed in a gown of marquisette and lace, with a long veil. She carried a bouquet of carnations and roses.

The bridesmaids were Lottie Wojtowicz, Marcella Budrus and Sophia Lossiewicz, Mrs. Jean Zajac was matron of honor. All were attired in net dresses of rainbow colors. The groom’s attendants, Edwin Klewicki, Stanley Wojtowicz and Tony Nowicki wore tuxedoes, as was the ring bearer, David Lazarz.

A reception was held at the Lublin Club Hall.

The couple will reside at Gilman where the groom is engaged as manager of a feed store.
