Mrs. Leonard Knutsen, 54, passed away on Friday afternoon, February 18, at 2:10 o’clock at her home in Withee, after suffering from cancer for the past two years.

Nina Augusta Gaarder, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Gaarder, was born in Albany, Wis., on August 1, 1889. Funeral services were held February 23 at 1 o’clock at the Knutsen home in Withee and at 2 o’clock at the Trondhjem Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. M. K. Aaberg will officiate. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband two sons, and two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Margaret) Rugh of Appleton; Leonard, Jr., of Stillwater, Minn., and Nadine and Omar at home.
