Owen, Sarah (1865 - 1944)

Mrs. Sarah Owen, long a resident of Neillsville, was recently buried at Sioux Falls, S. Dakota. She died at Los Angeles; whither she had gone to spent the winter.

Mrs. Owen was born Sarah Randall, 1865, at Fond du Lac, and later moved to Neillsville, where she married to Richard R. Owen in 1884. The family moved to Sioux Falls in 1912. Mr. Owen died there in 1926.

Mrs. Owen left a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Carlon of Los Angeles; two sons, Thornton G. Owen and Ralph E. Owen of Sioux Falls; a brother, Jerry Randall, and a sister, Mrs. Addie Merrill, Fond du Lac, nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
