Mrs. Clifford Swinn, Sr., formerly of the Pleasant Ridge community, has written The Press of the death of her mother, Mrs. Margaret N. Besler Thursday, April 6, 1944, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, following a brief illness. She was born October 20, 1870, at Cedar Rapids, and spent her entire life there.

Mrs. Besler has visited here at the home of her daughter several times. Burial took place at Cedar Rapids.
