Sly, Audrae May (Marriage - 11 April 1944)

Miss Audrea May Sly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Sly, town of Weston, was united in marriage with Pfc. Olaf Wallin, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Jain, Hanna, Ind., Tuesday afternoon, April 11, at 2 o’clock. The single ring ceremony was performed by Rev. George W. Longenecker at Sunset Point.

The bride wore a princess style white taffeta dress, and her flowers were carnations and daffodils. Mrs. Louis Wallin, North Judson, Ind., sister-in-law of the groom, was matron of honor, Miss. Eileen Carl was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Larry Wallin of North Judson, Ind., and Edgar Sly, brother of the bride.

The bride was graduated from the Neillsville High School with the class of 1942, and for a time was employed by the Lewerenz Sweet Shop, and later by the Clark County Press. The groom is in the U. S. Army service, and at present is stationed at Camp Bowie, Texas.

A wedding supper was given by the bride’s parents, at Wagner’s party room, fro the bridal party and a group of nine guests. The couple left Wednesday evening on a wedding trip to Chicago.
