Wedding bells will soon be ringing in our village.

Fred Simon transacted business at Medford, Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McNeight drove to Colby Monday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Matteson were Colby visitors, Tuesday afternoon.

Geo. Oldenberg and family autoed to Marshfield and Granton, Sunday.

Misses Alma Harry and Adaline Firnstahl were Unity visitors Friday.

Raymond Firnstahl and Carl Nelson were Colby visitors, one day last week.

Geo. Loughead of Marshfield visited his brother Sam and family here Sunday.

Miss Gertrude Best was the guest of friends at Dorchester, Saturday and Sunday.

Miss Eva Reas of Spencer, was the guest of Miss Ida Loughead Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Pettet returned home Friday morning on the limited from Minneapolis.

Miss Alma Glaman was the guest of her brother Ed, and wife, at Marshfield Monday forenoon.

Harold Hanson has been visiting relatives in Chicago the past week; returned home Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Breit and son were the guests of F. A. Allar and family at Spencer, Sunday.

Bills are out for a dance at Pettet’s opera house Friday evening, Oct. 2d. Music by Unity orchestra.

Mrs. Fred Dix of Colby, was the guest of Mrs. Nick Breit in our village, Thursday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl McCray of Owen, were the guests of the latter’s sister, Mrs. Geo. Burgess, here Sunday.

Miss Alta Jewett who has been visiting relatives at Stratford, returned home Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. Wm. Ewert, accompanied by her grand-child, departed last Thursday on the limited for Decatur, Mich.

Mrs. Joe Greenwood is at Beaver Dam, this week, attending the fair and visiting relatives and old friends.

Walter and Susie Payne of Plymouth, are the guests of their uncle, Mr. Griggs and family at this writing.

Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Briggs and daughter autoed down from Colby, Sunday, and spent the day with friends.
