Tobalski, William (1909 - 5 Nov. 1913)

A sad accident occurred at 6:30 last Wednesday evening, at the home of Martin Tobalski who resides on the old Schumacker farm in the town of Wien, when Albert, the nine year old son, accidentally shot his little brother, William, aged four. Mr. Tobalski, on returning home from a hunting trip, placed the gun in the corner of an unoccupied room. The boys entered the room and while Albert was examining it, the contents were discharged, instantly killing the younger boy.

An inquest was deemed unnecessary by the coroner and doctor as the shooting was beyond doubt an accident.
