The Clark county welfare committee, A. E. Stadler, town of Hoard, chairman, Arthur Swenson, town of Longwood, William Bradford, Art Ewert, town of Green Grove, and Emil Noah, town of Mead met at the court house at Neillsville last week Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Flink have moved into a home which they remodeled after a fire which destroyed the interior of the building last fall.

Forrest Johnson is putting up a building, 18 x 22 feet, to store his stock of farm machinery. The building is located north of the Johnson service station.

Members and friends of the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid Society met Wednesday afternoon for the Christmas party. Mrs. Lester Ewert was elected president; Mrs. Victor Dallman, vice president; Mrs. Merlin Justman, secretary; and Mrs. Frank Meyer, treasurer. Mrs. Meyer has held the office of treasurer for 14 consecutive years. Chairmen of the three groups gave their reports of the amounts earned throughout the year. The total amount was $580. The Rev. Charles Witt, Marshfield, presented the Christmas story. Gifts were exchanged and lunch served.
