Helm, Delores (Dec. 1, 1930 - Oct. 30, 1971)

Rites Set for Mrs. Helm, 40

Loyal--Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church here, for Mrs. James (Delores) Helm, 40, of Loyal, whose death was announced in Saturday's News Herald.

Mrs. Helm was found dead in the family car in the garage at the Helm home about 8 a.m. Saturday. A son discovered the body. Robert Lulloff, Clark County coroner, gave a verdict of accidental death by carbon monoxide poisoning.

The Very Rev. Norbert E. King, pastor, will officiate at Tuesday's service and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Visitations may be made today at the Roycraft Funeral Home here.

The former Delores Pieper was born Dec. 1, 1930, in Loyal, and was a graduate of the Loyal High School. She was married Oct. 26, 1949, in Loyal, to James Helm, who survives her. She had been employed in the circulation department of the Marshfield News-Herald for the past six years.

She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Loyal and its Altar Society.

Survivors in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Sandra) Summers, Stevens Point, and Miss Sharon Helm, Kenosha; a son, Randall, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Beverly) Olsen, Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Rueth, and Mrs. David (Karen) Fricke, all of Loyal; and Mrs. Jim (Marlene) Lauenstein, Milwaukee; a brother, Delmar Pieper, Spencer; and her father, Arnold Pieper, Loyal.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
