Nourse, Bonnie (27 OCT 1945)

Miss Bonnie Nourse, daughter of Mrs. Walter Emmerson and Archie Nourse, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) and Earl Miller, son of the late Ed Miller of Withee, were married at Greenwood in the parsonage of Rev. E.A. Norson at ten o’clock in the morning, Saturday, Oct. 27th, 1945.

The bride wore a white satin and net gown. Her headdress was a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of pink roses and pompoms.

Her bridesmaids were, Miss Violet Horn, Greenwood and Mrs. Edwin Lang, Chicago, sister of the bride. Their gowns were of blue and pink net respectively, each wearing a shoulder corsage of pink roses and pompoms.

William Gautsche Jr., was best man and August Mertens, groomsman.

A dance was given in honor of the bride and groom at Merry Ol’ Gardens. Music by Dale Simons and Orchestra.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Miller plan on Honeymooning in northern Wisconsin and Minneapolis. They plan on residing near Withee, where the groom is employed as a milk hauler.
