Bobb, Eleanore A. (19 JAN 1946)

A very pretty wedding took place at the Lutheran Parsonage at Dorchester, Saturday, Jan. 19, 1946, when Miss Eleanore A. Bobb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Bobb, of the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Henry Schultze, son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Schultze, of the town of Worden, with Rev. F.H. Sprengler performing the ceremony.

The bride’s wedding gown was of white satin with a net train. She wore a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of white carnations, red roses and white sweet peas.

The bridesmaids, Miss Regina Gorsegner and Miss Gladys Bobb, sister of the bride, wore aqua and pink gowns respectively, with head bands to match. They carried doily bouquets of flowers similar to the bride’s.

The groom chose for his best man his twin brother, Howard Schultze, who was in military uniform. The groom and his other attendant, Arles Offord, cousin of the bride, wore blue suits with carnations boutonnieres.

A bountiful wedding dinner was served at five o’clock to the bridal couple and parents at the home of the bride’s parents.

A dance and shower, at which they received many useful and beautiful gifts, was held at the American Legion Hall at Thorp in the evening.
