On Friday Sgt. Arthur Ruppelt, his mother, Mrs. Herman Ruppelt, and sister, Mrs. Gordon Woodford, all of Augusta, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gaines Hall. Mrs. Ruppelt is an aunt of Mrs. Hall. Sgt. Ruppelt has recently returned from Italy, where he has been stationed for nearly three years. He is an air corps mechanic with the 15th Air Force and he participated in the North African invasion and was sent from there to Italy. Sgt. Ruppelt left Sunday night for Fort Sheridan, where he will be reassigned. Mr. and Mrs. Gaines Hall and family visited at the Ruppelt home in Augusta on Sunday.
