Mrs. Caroline Horn entertained her son Raymond and his family Sunday.

Mrs. Hill sold her farm on 73 on the corner in Eaton Center to Francis Clintsman. W. Schuerring has been renting this farm.

Russell Dunn has rented the William Hammer farm and will move there soon.

Mrs. Harold Heck was tendered a pink and blue shower at Mrs. Eli Heck’s home last Wednesday afternoon. About 40 guests attended. The afternoon was spent in visiting and a guessing contest and admiring the gifts which were many and lovely. Vera, as she is known to her friends, also received a purse of silver. A delicious lunch was served.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tompkins and daughter were business callers in Neillsville last Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Thomas and Darrell Truax called on Mr. and Mrs. James McConnell of Marshfield last Tuesday. Mr. McConnell is now trying to get around his room with crutches and with help of another.
