West Side - by Mrs. Ernest Vollrath

The card party sponsored by Clark County Central 4-H club last Wednesday evening, proved a great success. Fifteen tables were in play. Lunch was served and prizes were awarded as follows: door prize, DuWayne Vollrath; ladies’ high, Mrs. Otto Horn; ladies’ second, Mrs. Quinton Irvine; men’s high John Seibold; men’s second, Henry Vollrath; 4-H club meeting was held Monday evening at the William Goehe home.

Verne Vollrath, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath, who was at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital for an appendectomy, returned home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Vollrath and Kenneth called at the John Vollrath home Sunday.

Billy and Jerold Vollrath are down with the measles.
